Rogério Sá’s restaurant, Rogério do Redondo, is a beloved Porto institution built on personal relationships, traditional cooking, and an obsession with sourcing the best ingredients. Rogério first entered the restaurant business more than 30 years ago after working in his family’s wine warehouse, then transformed the restaurant into a destination for hearty, old-school Portuguese food and generous hospitality. Over time, the business evolved with changing Portuguese tastes, but its identity remained rooted in substantial fare, strong neighborhood ties, and Rogério’s hands-on approach to both service and ingredients.

After closing in 2015 and spending years away, Rogério returned in 2019, restoring both the restaurant and the loyalty it had once inspired.
