<p>Lisbon had vineyards within easy reach, but until 2020, not a single winery in the city itself. Adega Belém changed that. Set in a former garage away from Belém’s tourist queues, the urban winery was founded by former academics Catarina Moreira, a biologist, and David Picard, an anthropologist, who left university life to make small-production wines from native Portuguese grapes.</p>
